Native plants offer birds berries to eat, nectar to feed from, insects to eat, and a place to nest. Bees and so many other insects also rely on these plants to create homes and nourishment for their lives. We can be a part of this rewilding!

We are highlighting certain native plants that support the endangered Rusty Patched Bumble Bee (RPBB) which relies on them. Any plants listed in the store with RPBB in the title will help the Rusty Patched Bumble Bee (ie. Virginia Waterleaf). See RPBB Call to Action below. These specific plants support other wildlife too. Ultimately, we want to achieve a richly diverse natural habitat in our City of Evanston and greater Midwest region!
