The Evanston Environmental Association is an all-volunteer organization; we have no staff. Consequently, the EEA Board of Directors is a working board, and every member voluntarily takes on specific responsibilities to ensure the organization thrives.
The Evanston Environmental Association board of directors is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill its Webmaster position. The Webmaster, like all the EEA board member positions, is a volunteer position.
General responsibilities
Manages and maintains the EEA website through the use of its non-profit software, Wild Apricot
Assist Board Members with projects and initiatives requiring an online presence
Onboarding new Board Members
Website
Keep the EEA website up-to-date with upcoming events and relevant information
Work alongside Marketing Lead and Social Media Coordinator to develop website copy and information in accordance with EEA style guidelines
Use our backend software, Wild Apricot, to manage and maintain the website, online store, and event listings
Assist with the creation of products and maintenance of the online store
Work with Garden Walk committee to facilitate online ad sales and site pages
Google Suite
Use the EEA Google Suite/Admin Console to manage Board Member email accounts and groups
Manage access to the EEA Google Drive
Create and remove EEA email accounts as needed
Provide support to Board Members with account and Google Drive issues
Events
Create event listing and web pages as required
Assist at events (i.e., Film Festival, Plant Sale, Earth Day)
Online Tools
Manage additional online tools and accounts used by the EEA: Square, Google Analytics, GoDaddy, Google Forms, etc.
Bring awareness of web tools that might help the EEA achieve it's mission

The Webmaster is an executive board position serving a two-year term (with the option for reelection).
