We'll discuss creating tiny native micro-worlds in your yard using our plants. Imagine a dry shade area - finally green, manage water with a mini vernal pond (rain garden), create a "pocket prairie", or build your own woodland edge. Julia's experience in building these spaces will aid in the discussions. Please review the website ahead of time and come with questions!
Our online sale is seeking to expand what we offer this year by having orders pre-sorted for the time of pick up and live sales for any remaining inventory on the day of pick up.
We will still be donating any unsold or uncollected plants to groups in Evanston who are seeking to build public and collective native areas in their neighborhoods or schools. Please sign up with Heron at the following email if your group would like to be a recipient. Plants will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis and only plants in our remaining inventory will be available - all worthy of a home in our region!
